Welcome to the
Tāmaki Regeneration Programme

Tāmaki is the largest urban regeneration project in New Zealand, creating a thriving, attractive, sustainable and self-reliant community where the future looks brighter for residents of Glen Innes, Panmure and Point England.

It's happening now, with over 10,500 new homes being built over the next 25 years. Schools, amenities, playgrounds - an entirely new community evolving from Tāmaki’s rich history – will bring a new prosperity, energy and spirit to the community.  It is opening doors to home ownership for thousands of young Kiwis and creating training, employment and business pathways for the community to prosper.

This new standard in urban regeneration will create a modern multi-cultural community, surrounded by world-class amenities with easy access to the CBD and Auckland's beaches, parks and amenities.  With efficient transport connections already in place, Tāmaki is unlocking potential like no other district in the region.

In the Neighbourhoods

Streets4Everyone community tours coming to Pt England!

Streets4Everyone is all about making our streets safer, more playful and celebrating Tamaki. As we trial some temporary changes, we want to keep you informed and involved, and we’d love to hear your feedback.

Temporary changes to Point England streets

Some temporary changes are coming to Anderson Ave and surrounding streets in Point England as part of Tāmaki Regeneration Company’s Streets4Everyone programme.

Turn a vacant site in Tāmaki into a hub of activity!

We’re looking to fund local people, organisations or community groups to take on a kaimanaaki role and shape four of TRC’s vacant sites into temporary spaces where the community can come to connect.
