VIEW ANOTHER NEIGHOURHOOD
TRC has begun conversations with residents in and around Dunkirk and Armein Roads to find out more about their needs and aspirations for their area. This feedback has been used to develop a regeneration plan for the neighbourhood with community meetings in August and November 2017.
The Armein neighbourhood is expected to include approximately 80 – 90 new warm, dry homes. These new homes will be well designed and healthy, while taking advantage of the natural and built environment. There will be a mixture of state, affordable and private market homes built in a range of styles, including houses, apartments and duplexes.
Construction is expected to take place in three stages, starting in lower Dunkirk Rd and then progressing into Armein Rd. House demolition in Armein and Dunkirk is now complete.

Stage 1 is approximately 30-40 new homes and is likely to be a four-storey apartment building.
Stage 2 includes approximately 30 new homes, with 3-4 bedroomed terraced houses currently planned.
Stage 3 is expected to include approximately 20 new homes. Three-storey terraced houses are currently planned.
